Launch Day! Well, after staying up till 1:15 or so last night, and only having gotten 3 hours sleep the night before, I slept in till 10:00 today. That meant I had to bust my ass and get the Indiegogo finalized! Fortunately we just needed to make some minor changes based on feedback from the top notch Indiegogo people, and then we were ready to roll! At 12:03pm PST, Diana did the honors and hit the “Launch” key and we were off!
And what a thrilling day it has been. Over 1,050 previous donors gave over $ 112,000 in just 12 hours! WOW! And, you all got treated to an amazing scene that Rob directed and Milton Santiago shot, introduced by an epic Star Trek intro produced and directed by Charles de Lauzirika.
I can’t tell you how much Diana is working. So many questions, she is on her computer or on her phone answering question after question. She answered OVER 200 questions on email today!
I could go on and on thanking each and every donor. But it is 1:30 at night and I am getting sick from lack of sleep, so forgive me if I just say THANK YOU!!!!!!!
Wow, it really is amazing the passion you all have for our project. And I cannot tell you how much it all means to all of us here at Axanar.
We all got our passes today, and then walked the floor for a few hours. Then it was off to dinner at The Water Grill with Team Axanar. So it is 1:38 AM now and I am off to bed. Good night Axa-world!

Just couldn’t help my self I went for two levels 100, and 150. Oh the patches! Oh the blue-ray! now all I need to do is get a blue-ray by next year! LOL

It’s NEVER too late. Right now our Indiegogo is private for prior donors of any capacity, but tomorrow morning it will be open to the public. if you’re a prior donor then check your email for a few blasts that went out to the email addresses that we have on file for each donor, or you can check the Axanar Donors Group (which is private and available only to donors via invitation) for more info, too. After a little more than a day — it’s 52% funded. Now that’s dedication to a well deserved project! And it’s only going higher!
Just remember, the goal is artificially low. We need $ 1.32 million to make the full movie.
I know the goal is artificially low but the turn out seems very low too! Hey people where are you, we need the 10,000 we had be for and more! We old hands have done things like get two perk items and bye off the store as well. I went for the 100 and 150 levels! GO GO GO !
